Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong｜Kuroiwa Ramen

Nice authentic ramen place in this area. Soy sauce is not my favourite favour for ramen and they did a good job. We ordered extra large soy sauce ramen. The soy sauce soup base is full of favour, aroma and complex in taste. It is delicious.

Absolutely delicious local ramen joint. It was a surprise we found this place walking through Sham Shui Po. The broth of the original ramen was very authentic, just like what you get in Kyushu, Japan. Slow-cooked pork and pork belly are both made very rich in taste, if you can't choose then get a jumbo meal for both. The shrimp soup is delicious too. Service was ok. Recommend this place for people who are tired of everyday ramen places.

The soup base is right, at least you won't feel dry mouth after drinking it. The noodles are thin, and you can choose from three types of softness and firmness. The highlight is the barbecued pork, which is fat and thin, tender and fragrant after being grilled; the candied eggs are also wonderful. This time I ate the black garlic ramen. Chicken wings with potato chips are sold out, try again next time.
