Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong｜Wong Lam Kee Chiu Chow Fish Ball Noodles

This is my all time favorite ~ fish ball noodles 🤤 Fish balls are springy but soft. Fish fillets are not too thin. The soup base is savoury but a little bit salty. Love lots of green onions.

I have now found my fishball noodle heaven in Hong Kong, available in the serving style that I grew up with in Malaysia/ Singapore.. ie. simple dry noodle in soy sauce (ooh and the noodle is basically ‘mee pok’ 😎) soup on the side.. loved the flavourful fish broth perfectly complementing the bouncy, tasty fish balls.. Will be back again to try the soup version and beef brisket next time! ♥️

Was there on a weekday around 2pm, not too many patrons. The aunties working there were quite friendly and funny. Seats were a bit close to each other. Recommended their sliced beef brisket, very tender and with umami. The other special we ordered, fishballs with chives not as impressive but also tasty. Must try their chilli oil, very flavorful.
