Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong｜Roppongi Japanese Restaurant

We had a 3 persons dinner there. The vibe was good that you thought you were in Okinawa. The boss and staff were friendly and they would treat you cups of sake haha On the other hand, the food was great, we ordered a fish and it was fresh. Snacks were great and tasty. Although the location was not that convenient, you could still walk there from Sham Shui Po MTR station for 10 mins.

My colleagues and I found the quality to be surprisingly high, the flavors delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere iconic and cozy. One colleague described the fish so nicely, as though it had lived a "happy life." The location is convenient and not far from the MTR. We would gladly come back here and enjoy future meals. Lunch sets range from around $80-$130 HKD.

A very nice Japanese style Izakaya with nice food. The restaurant owner, who’s a Taiwanese, offers entertaining and funny live performances by singing and inviting his customers to sing and get some food/ drinks for free. Some food are freshly imported from Japan on the same day and they taste nice. A bit pricy but with the interesting live show it’s not that expensive. Will definitely recommend my friends to go as well.
