Causeway Bay, Hong Kong｜Maizuru 舞鶴

Had the seasonal omakase tonight with friends in their tatami room. Very roomy and comfy, great for small group gatherings. The food was impeccable, including a good selection of the freshest ingredients of the month. We did not use soy sauce at all because the natural flavours were already very satisfying. Favourite dishes were the crab trio, nigiri platter, grilled tuna cheek and the chutoro roll. Everything else was delicious too. It was a great night with good food and company ~$1700 pp

A fantastic and exquisite experience. I tried their 19 course option and my partner had their wagyu streaks and lambs. We both really liked the overall experience. The sushi that was topped up with caviar was great and the tuna was melting in your mouth! Overall, a must try and deserve to be a Michelin restaurant.

Excellent omakase. Took the most pricey set and it was so fulfilling. 8 type of sashimi 8 type of sushi, complimented with a starter, a soup and fruits. If you are not full you can still ask for noodles or don. The same suggested by the chef 二粒米 goes very well with the food.
