Yonghe District, New Taipei City｜IKKI 深夜食堂-永和店

I chose this place to meet with a friend who also loves izakaya, because I saw it had a 4.9 rating. We like to try different ones and have visited quite a few in New Taipei and Beitou area. It was honestly the best food we've had. The sushi was so soft and slightly warmed by the fire torch with an amazing flavor and the beef was cooked to perfection.All the bites were served with small amounts of the perfect sauces.. a little salty, a little sweet. It was heaven. Best izakaya food I have been served in Taipei. My mouth is watering again just writing this as I remember. The design is not as cute/ warm as some I've been to, but the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was easy to make a reservation, which I really appreciated.

The vibe is good. The seat is less. If you want to dine in, you could make a reservation. The food is good. Miso cucumber is so so. The fried oolong is yummy.

The staff members were friendly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful. This Japanese style business offers traditional Japanese food with generous portion sizes. The food itself was deliciously crafted, and the dishes were unique in their taste. The price was acceptable for the quality and quantity of the cuisines.
