The food was delicious. Everything was really clean. My chicken was perfectly cooked. The lemon cheesecake was amazing.

À Table is an authentic Western style restaurant tucked away in the heart of Kinmen. First of all, the service was extremely friendly and professional. When I arrived I didn't have a reservation and unfortunately all of their tables were booked for the evening. However, because I was only one person, the host sat me at a bar area, which was perfectly fine. Later, when a reservation had been canceled, I was moved to a table. Secondly, the food I ordered was delicious and presented nicely. I had the filet steak dinner set, which included a chicken pâté appetizer, yummy pumpkin soup, and a nice salad with a variety of flavors and textures that harmonized well. The steak was prepared in the proper western way: Cooked medium rare and lightly covered in au jus, not smothered with pepper or mushroom sauce. Simply delicious. They have a nice wine selection and I opted for a pleasant merlot. A very pleasing experience all around!
