West District, Taichung City｜Burger Guardian

This is a really nice place for burgers. I came here on a whim because I happened to pass it while travelling elsewhere and thought “looks good I’ll put it on my list” and so recently I was like “let’s go”. I got the extra cheesy beef burger with potato wedges. I added jalapeños and also got a strawberry milkshake. The total cost was 414ntd which equates to about £10 in England. Now a meal like this would be double the amount in London! There were so many jalapeños so you really get a good amount for your buck. I couldn’t even finish it. The beef patty is so thick and juicy. The whole meal was delicious and very filling. The milkshake was delightful. A must try. I would go back to try other things off the menu and more flavours of the milkshake!

Really good burger and a good value. The burger patty is really thick so used steam cooked technique. This cooking style makes the burger very juicy. So it is a little messy to eat but it’s always better to eat with your hands if you can. It’s a lot of food just for a single patty. Double patty might be too much. Onion rings were great. I’ll be back again to try the other things

Really good burgers. Thick patties, I don't know what kind of animal could eat a double. I haven't had enough in Taichung to say this place is "best" but it definitely scratches the burger itch. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get in on a Saturday night at 7pm. Very friendly service and clean place.
