Beitun District, Taichung City｜超普通水煎包

Today I was walking along the Tai Hang No. 9 hiking trail and saw a lot of people queuing up for [Tai Hang No. 9 Super Ordinary Fried Bun]. I also queued up to buy it and try it. The cabbage fried bun (15 yuan) has a crispy skin and crispy vegetables. The filling is fresh and sweet (there are also fried leek buns), which are the best fried buns I have ever eaten. The scallion roll is NT$25. It’s not oily, soft and delicious. I checked online and found that Tai Hang No. 9’s super ordinary fried buns and Guanyin Ting fried noodles are only available on Saturdays and Sundays. 2018/11/4(Sunday)

Although it’s called super ordinary, I don’t think it’s ordinary at all! The skin is thin and filled with lots of stuffing. It is fried crispy and fragrant. It must be paired with homemade chili. The slightly spicy and numb aroma is not uncomfortable. It is super delicious. Unfortunately, the whole can of chili can only be stored for 10 days. I will always think about it. Find a reason to go hiking.
