Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong｜Kam Kee Cafe (Shau Kei Wan)

A friend invited me to dinner in Shau Kei Wan and found that Jin Kee Ice Room was open. It was bright and big, so I went in and sat down. My friend likes to eat fish, so he ordered set meal E, which included pan-fried yellow croaker, soup, plate, and a drink. He ordered frozen lemon tea. I ate some yellow croaker. The skin of the yellow croaker was crispy and the meat was white and smooth. It was fragrant and had a nice texture. I ordered some soy sauce, which even though I’m not a big fish eater, I thought it was good. He said that the soup had many ingredients and was very sweet. And I ordered Lianggua Beef. It's delicious. I like the beef juice wrapped in the cold melon, which reduces the bitterness of the cold melon but has a meaty taste at the same time. I also tasted the slight spiciness in the melon and beef, and the more I ate, the better. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered beef rice noodles and a cup of tea to go. The tea tastes good, the tea has a strong flavor and just the right amount of sweetness.

The air-conditioning was a blessing in the summer heat, and the staff even kindly said goodbye as I exited the restaurant. The second main dish: Hainanese chicken rice, the chicken is very smooth, which is the characteristic of Hainanese chicken, and it is also the reason why I like Hainanese chicken. The two main dishes are served with Laohuo soup, which has a lot of ingredients: pork bone, corn, chicken feet, northern and southern apricots and carrots. The soup is clear and sweet.
