Ngau Chi Wan, Hong Kong｜新龍城茶樓

We were going to Rainbow Village for photo shooting and found this old school dimsum place nearby the Choi Hung station. Although the seeing the negative reviews about the hygiene of the restaurant. But we decided to give it a try and it didn’t disappoint us. There were varieties of dimsum and some traditional dimsum were hardly can be found in other dimsum shops, like glutinous rice bun, pan fried cheong fun, 4 treasures wrapped in beancurd skin etc. I like the steamed pork ribs with yam, it was very delicious and the yam was fragrant and soft. The steamed minced beef ball was so flavourful and nice. The dimsum I wouldn’t recommend were glutinous rice bun and radish cake, but both were worth trying for the first time visit. Overall the dimsum were delicious, it definitely underrated. The price was definitely worth and pretty affordable. Since it’s an old school restaurant the ambience was not as cosy as those newer dimsum restaurants and even need share table with others.
