The best egg tart I've ever had in my life! Sourdough egg tart is 12$ each. Long line but fast turn over rate. Can pay with octopus card.

The place is a little bit hard to find but definitely worth the challenge. Their egg tarts are a delightful treat, with a creamy filling, and perfectly flaky dough that remains delicious even days later. I can't wait to return and try their other pastries.

When deciding where to eat, we normally check for online reviews before leaving the house/hotel. But when we are already out there we use a more reliable method which is, check the queue outside the restaurants. The longer the queue, the more delicious it must be. This is the case of Bakehouse in all its branches including this one along Staunton road. We ordered egg tart, choco walnut donut and lychee ginger kombucha. The donut was bigger than the donuts I'm used to. Good thing the filling was not that sweet. The highlight is the egg tart. It smelled really good and it was so rich and creamy. Better than all the egg tarts from PH and at par with those from Macau. I suggest you order by bulk as their stock easily gets consumed. Happy Eating!
