Yes the hype is real, amazing pepper cake. They sell in batches, worth the wait.

This is a great pepper bun shop with sweet owners! Hours are limited and buns sell quickly, so expect to go an hour before the next serving. I placed my order around 3pm for the 4pm batch and they were hot and ready when I came back. The dough is light and perfectly proportioned to the peppery, oniony filling.

Delicious contrast of crusty sesame bread outside and juicy pepper beef inside. Be careful when taking a bight, hot juices will pop out.
