South District, Taichung City｜怪獸披薩 MONSTER PIZZA (Slice N’ Dice)

By far the best pizza in Taichung which beats all the other established franchises, not only by taste but also the pricing. The 20" is massive and feeds 3 people easily. The staff is extremely nice and so is the owner, so it's nice to support businesses that care. I value the rotation of special flavours - Thai Chicken is the best! They also have a Members card so every 10th pizza is freeeeeeee.

Best New York style pizza we have had in Taiwan (and Asia for that matter). Skillfully made 20" pizzas (TWD 400) that were covered by great quality (and quantity of) toppings. Baked to perfection. The crust is one of the best we have had. If we ever lived in Taichung, would come by at least twice a month. Can order by the slice (TWD 55). Great service. Must try. 20191109: On this occasion, ordered a slice of double cheese and a single 20" pizza (half pepperoni, half jalapeno something?). Managed to finish half of the pizza, had to takeaway the rest. Double cheese is excellent and highlights the finesse of the tomato sauce. Personally a pepperoni fan so that will always be number one but Italian sausage and double cheese are very, very close seconds. Pepperoni tastes like pepperoni (this is a rarity in Taiwan) although as of late pepperoni density seems to have significantly fallen...
