I had an amazing lunch in Le Rouge. The exterior of the building is sensational, having a brickhouse in Taiwan is quite unique and easy to spot. The atmosphere and the lightning inside the restaurant was stellar, as well as the service. My girlfriend and I ordered the squid with garlic and olives as a starter and a burger each. The place seems to be famous for the burgers and they were great, both the Smoking Gun and the Bourbon Bacon Jam. The meat is very juicy, the buns crispy and the other ingredients were a great pairing to it. The starter was also surprisingly very delicious, and dipping the sauce was pure pleasure. They seem to offer 50% on house drinks while ordering the burgers, and their house red was particularly amazing (and cheap with the offer). I think I will go again on some nights to drink more !

Walked into this place because of the charms but have to say that the food outshone even the handsome red brick façade. The beef in the burger was smoky & juicy and fries crispy. The bone-In pork chop accented with caramelized apple chutney & whole gloves of oven roasted garlics was perfectly grilled to seal the moisture & flavor in, so tender, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great service to boot! The menu is quite extensive but I know I shall return whenever I have a craving for good burger & fries.

Le Rouge is one of my favorite restaurants in Taiwan!! The burgers picture are a Apple and Pear chutney burger and the Smoking Gun. These two burger are absolutely amazing with unique flavors you can’t find anywhere else. Their fried mozzarella is the best in all of Taiwan!! Tonight I had their fish and chips for the first and it was also fantastic! The service is always very friendly and welcoming with staff that speaks English. The owner/chef is great and makes almost everything in house including the chutney. The restaurant itself is really nice inside and out. The prices are a little higher for Taiwan but the quality more than warrants the slightly higher price.
