East District, Hsinchu City｜陶板屋 新竹食品店

It’s a restaurant that only offers set menu of 7 courses (if I remember correctly) where customers can choose between different dishes per course. The dishes were fusion, more Taiwanese and Japanese, very rich experience to go through different courses with a mix of a variety of flavors and textures. I especially liked the steak, the steak was marinated before getting grilled so it had an umami flavor and extremely juicy, perfect match with the garlic flakes as its company. It was also an option to takeaway a certain course if you prefer not to consume it onsite. Something else worth noting was the service, the staff were very friendly and professional, we were there on a Saturday, the restaurant was quite full and we came with children on top of that we didn’t all arrive at the same time, the staff was able to manage all our dishes that came in different order (which must have been super chaotic for them) still they were very patient with us so we were able to enjoy the dining experience, I really appreciated that.
