Zhubei City, Hsinchu County｜Chonky Diner 肥貓漢堡

Nice diner with generous portions and delicious burgers. If you remember a popular place called Chubby’s at this location then you’ll know what to expect. In terms of menu choices it’s burgers, sandwiches, bbq, a bit of pasta, plus breakfast. Unusually they have some vegan and vegetarian options. I opted for a bbq burger and went with two patties (probably unnecessary). It was cooked to perfection, soft, juicy, with a touch of pink. The sauce was a bit too mustardy for my taste, but overall it was really good. It also came with a large portion of fries. The service was minimal - okish. The food came quickly. Parking was easy and it was near a nice little park to help you walk off the large portions. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in the hsinchu area - strongly recommended.

Super duper yummy. This was our first time visiting. We we're excited to see two veggie burger choices (we're vegetarians.) We got one of each, the beyond burger and portobello burger and added blue cheese. They way exceeded expectations. Hopefully they will extend their hours at some point. Since they close at 5, it's hard to visit.
