Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Atmosphere and Cleanliness: 5/5 Overall Experience: 5/5 I’ve eaten here several times since the store opened last month. Overall, I would rate the food as excellent. Although the price per dumpling is slightly higher than other dumpling shops, the price is reasonable for me, the flavor is significantly richer than other restaurants, and the ratio of meat to vegetables is high. I’m personally not a huge fan of seafood, so I can only speak to the quality of the pork and cabbage dumplings, but I was very satisfied after ordering a portion. The hot and sour soup isn’t quite sour enough for me, but the spicy numbing noodles (椒麻麵）and spicy garlic noodles (蒜香辣拌麵）are fantastic. They also aren’t too spicy! I think my favorite item on the menu is the specialty crispy fried dumplings（脆花煎餃）. The mouth-feel of the fried dumpling skin is delicious and definitely worth ordering multiple times. I will say that after ordering take-out once, I realized that the dumplings don’t stay as crispy as I would like by the time I get home. It’s definitely something I prefer to order when eating at the shop. In terms of service, the first time I visited I thought that service was slow, but it seems to have improved a lot over the last couple of weeks. I will say that picking up my own food is slightly aggravating, but it’s no different from the Ba Fang Dumplings (八方雲集) near my house, so I’m used to it. I did appreciate that the employees try to send out all of the food at once to avoid extra trips. Regarding store atmosphere and general cleanliness: I’ve been to a lot of dumpling shops around New Taipei City, and have definitely seen my share of unkempt, unclean storefronts. I think that this restaurant is relatively clean and sanitary when compared to other stores I’ve been to in the area. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed the food each time I have eaten there, and will continue to return in the future.
