West Central District, Tainan City｜HUA SHIH JIAN

We didn't eat there but just got a coffee. Nice place but the menu is only in Chinese and no English translations. The manager didn't speak much English but went out of his way to help first with drinks order and then about things to see do in Tainan. Wrote down Chinese words for food to eat in Tainan and recommended a shaved ice place too. They have 4 cats and a dog there that you can pet. So different

Sweet desserts, friendly animals, ample air conditioning--what more can you ask for? This was a perfect reprieve from the heat. The cats and dog were adorable, and the tarts were fantastic. Since it was busy, we had to wait about 20 minutes but we were in good company 😻. Recommend as a pit stop when shopping on Shennong St.

Really great place, as a tourist you should definitely go here. They speak great English and also have an English menu. The food is delicious. The guy was really nice and helpful. And obviously the fact that they have both dogs and cats is amazing 😄
