Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Qianhui Goose

Came into this little hole in the wall around 12 for some lunch. Came highly recommended by a friend. Never had goose before only duck. The staff were friendly and the food came quick. We waited for 10/15 mins or so to be seated but it was because it was busy. Had the pork heart soup, goose intestines, smoked goose meat and their signature braised pork on rice. The soup was fresh and light and the heart was sliced thin and easy to eat. Great texture. The goose intestines were spongey and nice. The goose meat itself was yummy. I loved the braised pork, it had kind of a fried shallot flavor to it which was delicious. Definitely try it!

Goose is a little bit pricy but very delicious. The cucumber taste good. I will definitely visit again.

The food is very delicious and very cost-effective. It is not expensive and definitely worth visiting. Many people don’t know about it.
