As a rice cake lover, I met Tainan rice cakes in Fengyuan! Southern rice cakes are more like an extended version of braised pork rice. Ingredients such as pork floss/braised pork are added and combined with glutinous rice. Personally, I am very picky about glutinous rice dishes! Glutinous rice should not be cooked too soft. It needs to be perfectly defined when the grains are distinct and the hardness of the rice grains is just right😝 This time I came to this restaurant for takeaway. The rice cakes have clear grains and are not too hard. It’s great👍 Braised pork goes really well with pork floss and glutinous rice. Pairing it with cucumbers can really relieve the greasiness of the braised pork. Adding a braised egg also makes every bite satisfying! Also order a plate of tofu soup. Wow, the super large tofu is only 25 yuan, and the soup is still hot for takeout, which is very stomach-warming! This meal is really satisfying😍
