Changhua City, Changhua County｜大元蔴薯(鹹麻糬)

It’s delicious~ A gift from a former colleague. First time eating it. Really delicious.

Known this Mochi place for over 20 yrs. It’s definitely a place you must visit whenever you come to Changhua, Taiwan. The place located right in front of the Chenghuang Temple in Changhua; famous for its Savory Mochi with pork, bamboo shoots, carrots, and dried shrimp. They do have other basic sweet flavors: Red Bean, Peanut, Black Sesame, Mung bean; and Savory for vegetarians with mushroom. *No Parking/ Very hard to park nearby as well *20 Mochi/box, mixed flavors *Super crowded on weekends The savory one is the best and unique! Signature lean meat and salty mochi. I have bought it since I was a child. I didn’t particularly like it before. Now the more I eat, the more delicious it is. The more I eat, the more delicious it is.

The lean meat and peanut flavored mochi is delicious!
