Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Eighty-Eightea Rinbansyo

Happended to stumble upon this place during my short layover in Taiwan and I was really surprised! The place is really tranquil amid of the busy Ximen district. This place really reminds me of Kyoto. The dessert and tea were also amazing! Service was great, the staff was very friendly. I will definitely visit this place again whenever I'm in Taipei!

Very beautiful and charming gem, love that it's so near Ximen station. It's a really amazing tea shop in a restored japanese setting. The bathrooms are very clean and their is free and fast WiFi. There are English menus too and pictures for illustration. The set lunch with sesame noodle is delicious and served quite fast! But they do take a bit of time to take down your order, but the crew is very friendly and sweet. The green bean pastry that accompanies the tea set is very delicious!

It is a lively having some tea during noon. It is comfortable filled with atmospheric nice woody scent.
