This is a Taiwanese family-style restaurant. During my first visit, I ordered pot-roasted pasta and fried rice with shredded corn and pork. I was very impressed with both dishes. The pot-roasted pasta soup features a peppery broth that creates a unique flavor. The noodles in the soup are cooked just right, with a silky texture, and are paired with rich ingredients, including shredded pork, shrimp and vegetables. The portion is almost as much as the noodles. It’s also very convenient without having to remove the shrimp shells. Another fried rice dish with shredded corn and pork has a strong aroma of soy sauce. The corn and shredded pork in the fried rice provide layers of texture in a simple yet delicious dish. The atmosphere of the entire meal made me feel the warmth and intimacy of a Taiwanese family-style restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is very efficient. It feels like the restaurant is full of regular customers who can chat with the boss during meal times.
