Just as good as the main store, a little bit less wait time (still need to wait). Dumplings are a must, pork chop fried rice is great, the desert buns are wonderful. All must eat hot out of the kitchen. It is not the same with carry out.

Best dumplings, cost effective and caring staff. Their customer service must be rated top stars. They even take care of minute details for people. Waiting line might be bit hectic on weekends so make sure you go in advance. Its all worth it. Must try in Taipei.

English / Chinese Probably the world's most famous Chinese chain restaurant known for their Xiao Long Bao and Egg Fried Rice. I've had this several times in Malaysia and Singapore and they were good most of the times. The XLB is masterfully wrapped by the chefs locking the broth inside it. As for the egg fried rice it's not the kind that's heavy on the seasoning, but it has a very fluffy texture unlike your usual fried rice that can be drier. Do remember to ask for their chilli oil! Din Tai Fung, which can be found all over the world, is probably the most famous Chinese restaurant. Their must-order xiaolongbao and egg fried rice are both of good quality. The filling of the xiao long bao here is relatively light, allowing you to taste the original flavor of the gravy. The egg fried rice also doesn't have a strong taste, and the rice grains are fried until they are very soft, and the grains are clearly wrapped in the flavor of the egg.
