Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City｜Thai Town Cuisine - Kaohsiung Mingcheng Store

I went there last week with my friends, the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was truly delicious! It reminded me of my hometown foods, just like my mom cooked.

Thai food in Taiwan is altered but that's what I love about it! Get the 椒麻雞 (sorry I forgot what they named it in English). It has the underlying Thai flavors but coupled with Taiwanese fried chicken and Chinese "mala" spices. Also get the 月亮蝦餅 which is like fried shrimp paste which tastes better than how I'm describing it! Add in stir fried minced pork, 同菜, Tom Yum soup and plain Jasmine rice and you'll have yourself an amazing meal everything listed above except the pork can be made mild spicy. Or you can increase the spice level with extra tangy Thai chili!! Makes everything taste even better!
