I visited on a holiday night in early January 2022. I made a reservation in advance, so I was able to go through the private room smoothly. This time, after consulting with the store staff, I asked for a "one rank higher course" (8500 yen). On this day, we started with yuzu tofu as an appetizer, followed by sashimi of inshore fish, simmered clams and namafu, grilled mackerel, assorted kuchitori hassun, roast beef, shinjo soup, assorted tempura, and firefly squid dressed with vinegar miso. It consisted of Shirako Ponzu, white rice, miso soup, pickles, apple compote, and assorted fruits, so you can enjoy Kyoto cuisine and seafood dishes at once. Not only did I enjoy the taste of the ingredients, but I was also very satisfied with the delicate workmanship and appearance. I think that it is quite rare that you can enjoy all this with your dog. If you are thinking of having a delicious Kyoto-style kaiseki meal with your dog in Kyoto, this restaurant is recommended. Of course, even those who are not accompanied by a dog can fully enjoy it.
