Osaka, Japan｜Shama Vegetarian Indian Restaurant

I had their 17th anniversary special set. It was really tasty. There were 4 curries dal, soy masala, Palak and veg. All of them had unique tastes and I had it along with chapati which was quite soft and light on the stomach as compared to a naan. I also really enjoyed the soup and the green smoothie. The white dessert in the last photo is Kheer which I really liked and I hadn’t found it in any other restaurant in Osaka. Check this place out for tasty Indian food without putting a hole in your pocket.

Must visit for pure vegetarian, tasty Indian food in Osaka, something that is very rare to find in Japan. Every item I ordered was having that authentic vegetarian Indian flavour which I haven’t had for more than a month of me travelling across Japan. The only area of improvement could be the ambience, the space could have been a little bigger. Thank you for doing what you do, will definitely visit this place again when I visit Osaka next time around.

Wont find many vegan Indian vegetarian restaurants in Japan. We got lucky as our hotel was 5 mins walk away. Food was excellent with many dishes.. that too without onion and garlic. Didnt know the place is affiliated with Govinda's restaurant. Recommended.
