More Comments at Google MapVentured here on a whim as my trip didn't include a stop in Fukuoka where this dish is famous. So glad I did! When you've had your fill of takoyaki and okinomiyaki in Osaka, definitely make a beeline to this place for something very different. The dish includes cabbage garlic chives and beef and pork intestine. You can choose whether you get a soy sauce or spicy based broth (I got spicy, pictured). You can then pay extra for more veggies, noodles etc. I got extra rice and an egg with mine and that was more than enough for one person. Absolutely delicious!
Very good and quite cheap. Doesnt have a weird raw taste. I got the spicier base and it was sooooo good. Totally recommend you get the extra bowl of soft chewy motsu (i got the shiro motsu) if you really like it. I expected there to be less motsu in the stew in the beginning, but still sufficient if you dont eat a lot.
So lucky we accidentally stumbled upon this place by chance. The hotpot taste is amazing!
