This tiny bar was absolutely outstanding. When we initially walked past looking for dinner the Owner gave us a warm exchange of acknowledgment as we looked in. After dinner we headed straight back. Welcomed by both the Owner and another patron invitingly we then proceeded to browse the selection and were not disappointed. My fiancé really enjoys whiskey, and Japanese whiskey at that. The way that the drinks are prepared is really satisfying and somewhat an art form. We had a delightful conversation with him learning he had owned the bar for 16 years! Prices range for whiskey from 500¥ to 20,000¥ as there is a good selection of aged whiskeys. I was really shocked to see 1 star reviews. Allegations of racism is not something to be done lightly, we are not Japanese and from making eye contact on the street passing by to coming back as patrons we received nothing but warm welcome. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

Very delicious Ginger ale in fact the best I ever had. The bar is very small takes 4 people but it has a great atmosphere. Feels like being in a bubble in Dotonbori.

A cozy hide out amidst the bustling Dotonbori. We stumbled upon this bar while trying to find an izakaya and we were glad to found this place. The draft beer was absolutely amazing and selection of whiskies were great.
