The system is to pack your own food and take it home with you, but the containers at the store are suitable for things like fried chicken and deep-fried foods, but not for boiled or stir-fried foods, so if you're buying those things, it's convenient to bring a Tupperware! On the occasional days when side dishes are half price, take them home and have them as a side dish for dinner! The store gets crowded during lunch and dinner hours, so it's easier to shop if you avoid it! The bento boxes are also much better than those at the supermarket!

We went to lunch, and there were a variety of side dishes prepared, so we had fun choosing from them. It's a great service with lots of dressing, sauce, and furikake.

It is a mistake to think that Maido Ookini Shokudo has the same taste everywhere. This place is delicious! Only veterans are working, and there are no young part-timers. You can eat proper rice.
