Best sushi I’ve tasted in my life. It’s just divine. I ordered plates 1, 2, and 3 and they were all sooo good. The only reason I didnt get to taste plate 4 was that I was too full. The miso soup pairs well with the sushi too. My favorites are the uni and salmon roe. The fatty tuna was really good too. People were very kind and accommodating! It was hard to find at first but you’ll get it eventually 😅

Easily the best sushi I’ve ever eaten - fresh, soft, delightful textures and flavours. I am just common trash with little experience and I instantly could tell how high quality the fish was. Come here in the morning, ideally before 9 am. That’s usually before the tourist rush, though expect to wait 15 minutes regardless. Cash only, so bring it, and lots. It was 1300 per 5 piece combo, and there’s 4 variations. It’s easy to make a decision and order as a tourist. They have an English page that tells you how to do everything. It feels a bit impersonal and even rude, but given the line up and the staff’s lack of English, I think it makes sense that they just simplify every transaction. There’s an a-la carte menu but it’s not written down, which makes me laugh, and I saw some locals order away with a beer. I love the idea of secret menus. The store is kinda in the market parking lot? It’s awkward to get to: you’ll basically have to walk 20 minutes from the nearest subway stop. It’s totally worth it though. Best sushi ever.

I've been coming for a decade now and the sushi remains as fresh and delectable as ever. It's become popular among overseas Asian tourists now, leading to long queues if you arrive after 11am. Still, I'd queue as the sushi and value cannot be beat. Don't miss the umami clam miso soup!
