Osaka, Japan｜Sui

One of the best meals in my life. Every course was a masterpiece, a celebration of the locally sourced ingredients, artfully presented. This dinner was worth every penny and felt really inexpensive given the high value received in return. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Dined at SUI several times at their previous premise, and the new location is definitely an upgrade, more cosy and comfortable. Their delectable dishes right down to dessert have improved since our last visits. The Team even endeavour to write descriptive placards (in several languages) explaining each dish - the name, seasonal produce and cooking method to facilitate better enjoyment of the cuisines. My favourite was their fish soup,their grilled A4 Wagyu beef and the rice from Chef's hometown, Shimane. To complement the meal, do try their good sake collection. A very enjoyable restaurant for Kaiseki in Osaka!
