The best Mont Blanc, with a thick layer of chestnut cream. We specifically go there routinely just to get it as takeaway. They place a thick layer of chestnut and this makes it the most fabulous compared to others. The restaurant is over 120 years old so of course it is perfection. Their Hamburg steak with baked potato is well known in town and can also be taken out. They have a cold tomato dish with tuna sauce that is great.

Absolutely delicious course meal for dinner for ¥2600. The only bad thing is that I overate, but everything I had was absolutely scrumptious. First, I started with the Niçoise salad which was delectable. Then, I had the salmon which was a bit sweet, but extremely tasty. And finally, I had a small slice of chocolate cake which was absolutely amazing, paired with chamomile tea! Also, the service was absolutely amazing!

If you are looking for Japanese style western foods, this is definitely the place you are looking for. There is also branch is other parts of Kyoto and Osaka but since you are here why not try out the original shop ( they have special menu limited only to the original shop ). I highly recommend to order at least 1 set of the tomato salad and hamburger steak. The hamburger is juice explosion and the sauce is just amazing.
