Warm friendly service. Awesome sushi and sashimi bowl. Must try the eel dish if ur not into raw food or have children. Restaurant is small. Only tables for 2 and counter seats.

I used to live in Japan and now live in Vancouver and consider myself a sushi connoisseur. This local sushi restaurant has amazing, fresh, sushi and is great value. It is much better than the touristy places in DT Kyoto and is worth going out of your way to visit.

It is truly a hidden gem. It is about 7 min from Heian shrine and you must enter a gank to get to the little resto. The food is outstanding fresh and delicious. Though the place is so small it still makes me want to go back again next time, insha'Allah. The owner is witty and friendly. Cash only!
