Seasonal cuisine served in a rural setting. This is a long-established restaurant located in a quiet residential area, with a history of 80 years. I visited on 21/10/31, and it was matsutake mushroom season. The hunting season for botanical pot is lifted in November. It was my first time visiting, but it had a very nice atmosphere. Oishi Sake Brewery and Hieda Shrine are right next door, and there are three restaurants: one where you can enjoy simple kaiseki meals, one with a separate entrance, and another with a separate building where you can enjoy eel. We changed the Matsutake mushroom rice to Kamiobaba Kaiseki (¥1,350) for an additional ¥500. To be honest, the matsutake mushroom rice wasn't worth adding, but the other kaiseki dishes were very delicious! I had a lot of fun eating local food little by little. Surprisingly, the sashimi was fresh and very satisfying🎶 I visited around 13:00, and as it seems to be a long-established store that is famous in the area, a steady stream of calm local gentlemen and ladies were entering the store. However, it is comfortable and never crowded. As for the food, many of us asked for Kamiobaba Kaiseki. (Apparently there was still Obaba Kaiseki.) I found this shop by chance, and I was very satisfied with it! This is a long-established store that we recommend when you go to Kameoka ^ ^ [Recommended shrines in Hieda (HP) if you have time] Hiedano Shrine is famous for its power to prevent cancer. If you stroke the knob of the cancer-fighting oak tree in the temple grounds, you will receive the blessing of being able to fight off cancer. It is also a shrine where you can receive a variety of ``spirits'', and within its precincts there are shrines for matchmaking, shrines for learning, and shrines for prosperous business. This shrine offers a wide range of blessings and has many things to see. During the autumn foliage season, the area around the wado misogi pond in the temple grounds is beautiful.

I used it for lunch. I made a reservation and received the botan nabe. After making a reservation, I was guided to a semi-private room with a view of the garden. It's a sunken kotatsu, so it's easy to sit on. This is a Hatcho miso based soup stock. Beautifully arranged shishi meat appears. There is no odor. I heard that the fatty meat of game meat is delicious, but it's true! It's not greasy at all. The fishballs are made with shishi meat and are also delicious! The udon noodles at the end are thin and soaked in the dashi soup, making it even more delicious! To be honest, it's not cheap, but since it's only available in the winter, I wonder if it could be used as a once-a-year reward.
