Zero Degrees Warms The Heart! It may be called 0C but it was toasty warm in the establishment during late December in Namba, Osaka. Cold, and weary, after our flight and with night getting on and us becoming ravenous we needed a hot, uniquely Japanese meal to give us the energy to walk around Dotonbori in the chilly evening. This was the spot. I had the Tonkatsu Curry and it was top notch, a big serve and with that classic taste that you expect. A freezing Nikka highball on the side to balance the hot with the cold. Reasonably priced, and with plenty of seats in the often crowded area of Namba this comes highly recommended for a quiet, and quick place to get a very good meal.

Ask for a better sear and they will do it for you. Their standard sear is a little light. Meat is fantastic. The spinellis dorsi on the ribeye has a nice complex fun and it is seasoned very balanced. I would like to see a little more butter, sear, and some aromatic herbs. Order the 350g or 450g ribeye. The 250 is too thin. Their garlic rice is fantastic and comes with little chunks of dry aged steak. I've been to the best steak restaurants in America (Bern's, Smith and wollenskys, etc), and the best wagyu places in Japan.... This is a budget version of a nice American dry aged place. You're not getting 180 day prime, but it's still nothing to shake a stick at. I would eat here every week if I could. Solid dry aged steak restaurant. In more detail. The level of their service was perfect . The steak was more tender that I expect. Great place for dinner and the best Steak I experience. The staff are all friendly and accomodating . I also like the ambiance of the place very comfortable. To my friends, I would deeply encourage them to visit Dotonbori main store
