Kyoto, Japan｜Saffron Saffron

My part-time manager recommended me to eat at this restaurant. I came alone at noon and there was no long queue ~ I’m happy It's just a family handicraft shop. In fact, this dish is quite interesting, and it's a little different from ordinary Japanese dishes. Maybe some foreign elements have been added to make it taste less monotonous. Overall, I think it's ok, but the meat seems to be a little fatter at the end...I don't eat fat meat, so it's a bit emmmm

Was met with smiles and welcomes. Though menu was not in English, it was fun to order because staff were there at the table to help us order when we sat down- super friendly staff, VERY YUMMY food! I had what waiter called a hamburger patty wrapped in an omelette and it was so good it was gone in minutes! Came with option of sides and a bowl of miso. Would come back again! 😊

Perfect. Really like here. Many kinds of hamburger, wonderful donjiru, and reasonable price! Living in kyoto, I often go there whenever I have a time near Shijo. One bad memory is the female staff on the dinner of weekend was quite scared as it seemed she was quite stubborn to the foreigner.
