More Comments at Google MapI found a nearby Italian restaurant on Google Maps by chance, and called the clerk to ask if I could just walk in without a reservation. It's a very small restaurant, but it's clean and tidy. My mom said it was the best pasta she's ever had. Before the appetizer, I had a sliced baguette, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Appetizers: The vegetable salad ordered for the appetizer was something that wasn't on the menu. I don't know the name of the salad, but I just showed it to the wait staff when I saw the photo on Google Maps. The veggie salad was highly recommended with fresh olives in it. Tossed with their dressing it was tart. Pasta: The pasta order was the Daurade et Legume (I'm not sure, I think that's the name) with fresh mushrooms in it and the first bite really wowed me. We actually ordered one portion and the clerk was kind enough to split it into two portions for us to easily share with my mom. The pasta was amazing, the texture of the pasta was not too chewy and not overcooked, it was just the right amount of time. Combined with the sauce, it doesn't feel greasy and goes well with the dish, it really is a CD-ROM action. Entree: For my entree, I ordered the Roasted Duck Leg which was served with fried potatoes and capers. The skin of the duck leg is crispy and the meat inside is soft and juicy, the fire control is very good, the taste is also very delicate, the meat is soft and does not need to chew too hard the flavor will spread to the whole mouth. Dessert: For dessert we ordered a seasonal limited, and asked specifically because it was written in Japanese. Inside was half a peach with white wine jelly and ice cream. The white wine jelly was not too alcoholic and you could only taste a little bit of the wine flavor, which was just right. The peach didn't look like it was freshly cut, but it was still sweet. This was one of the most amazing dinners I had when I came to Kyoto, and I will definitely come back to experience it again when I have the chance to come back for a second time in the future, and I recommend that anyone who is still in Kyoto should definitely give it a try, and you will definitely not be disappointed.
A restaurant that offers delicious food at affordable prices, with just the right amount of consideration and customer service. I would love to have one near me.
I used it for lunch. The appetizers were filling and the pasta was delicious! It's a popular store. There were many solo customers and customers who used it for lunch. The customer service is kind and efficient, and I would like to use this store again.
