More Comments at Google MapThis place was one of my favorites during our trip in Japan. The atmosphere is down to earth with DIY-vibes furniture. The clam soup was DELICIOUS! We also had tuna salad (super fresh and soft tuna with delicious dressing for the salad), grilled mackerel (grilled to crispy perfection and seasoned very well) and my 5 year old loved the fish and chips. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable.
This restaurant felt reasonably priced. We paid 1,800 yen for a platter of sashimi, which came with sweet shrimp, amber jack, bream, tuna and ika, each of which had 3 pieces. We also got the baby clams steamed in sake for 450 yen, which was bigger than expected. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place as it was a fish market by day and restaurant by night which felt unique and interesting. The staff were welcoming and very polite, and provided an English menu as well. I would recommend this place if you happened to be in the area and want to try some sashimi. If you prefer not to get the platter, try the amberjack or the sea bream, both of which I felt were stellar compared to the rest. If you're adventurous, they serve grilled fugu (puffer fish) fins in sake as well for around 450 yen. An interesting find.
Very authentic and casual dining experience frequented by locals. The seafood served here is really fresh and you'll feel like you're eating at a market. We ordered the grilled amberjack, turban shell, sashimi, fried octopus and lobster gratin - they all turned out really well!
