Kyoto, Japan｜Bar Cordon Noir

An absolutely lovely cigar and whisky bar with an extensive menu of whisky from around the world. The room is not overly smokey even if people are smoking due to good ventilation. Yhe vibe of the bar is very relaxed with piano/jazz music playing. There The bar tender is super friendly and will try to speak English to tourists. Menu in English available. We tried lots of options on the menu neat but if you're looking for a cocktail I truly enjoyed the Japanese old fashioned. I asked for it with Yamazaki instead of the one it comes with. There is a small food menu but i havent tried anything on it yet since we usually stop here after dinner. This is our 2nd time visiting the bar and we plan to come back on future trips to kyoto. Thank you to the owner for making it a wonderful experience.

Such a cool bar tucked away on the 3rd level of this building. Amazing selections of whiskey's, the full bar length to be exact. Fantastic service!!! Our bartender spoke very good English and was so polite, she even held the elevator for us when leaving, great experience.

Amazing. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere! Will hopefully be able to come again in the future.
