Great place for whisky especially all the Japanese varieties that are impossible to buy outside of Japan now. It’s not really a place for a casual beer or wine, go to an Izakaya for that.

Fantastic whisky selection. Also bar staff tried very hard at letting me try local whiskies as they're very proud. Awesome view along the river and quite intimate.

Great bar overlooking the river. The setting is the typical Japanese bar with a long and narrow space, which creates an intimate atmosphere with only a few bar seats (plus two or three tables in some alcoves). Music not too loud, delicious g&t, overall very nice bar. Please note, there is a ¥ 1000 cover charge just to enter. Also surprisingly, you can still smoke in bars (unlike in Europe).
