Kyoto, Japan｜Kyo-gochiso Ishimaru

Fantastic experience here yesterday (4/5). We had the dinner course (~5000 yen). While a bit expensive, it offered an awesome opportunity to try Kyoto traditional food. Everything was delicious and the hospitality was top notch.

We had a beautifully presented and delicious dinner. This is a very special place. The owners are lovely, patient and kind. They even took the time to translate the menu to English for us in advance. The attention to detail and care for every aspect of the meal was readily apparent. We highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful experience. A Michelin level meal in a small cozy place.

Everything was great. The staff personally translated all the courses in English. They were very hospitable.
