We were wandering the neighborhood after dinner headed to the Ritz Carlton for a nightcap. The sign on the door and the display drew us in. What a delightful discovery. The ambiance is elegant and intimate. It appeared we were joining two couples on dates, two women who were close friends enjoying wine and conversation together, and three co-workers sharing their passion of the grape. We didn’t eat but the food presented looked spectacular and there we lots of oohs and aahs from the two couples as they dined on either side of us. We had bubbles, French of course. Tabata helped us pick a Cabernet Sauvignon from Japan which was excellent and reminded us of the style from our region, Paso Robles, California. Cave de K is highly recommended by us.

Foreigner here! Cave de K was an amazing experience. We walked in without reservations and were very lucky to be seated immediately. They have a very well curated list of champagnes and wines… even a magnum Krug that you can order by the glass. We also met a local who was very kind and chatted with us. Overall, a very unique experience to stumble upon. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
