A good restaurant experience in Kyoto! Very authentic and only local people go to eat here. The prices are more than fair and the food is amazing! The menu is in Japanese but you can manage to order. The service is very familiar and tries to help where it can. We will definitely be back.

Best food I had in Kyoto and also one of the cheapest. Extremely friendly staff. I highly recommend this to anyone close to the area. The locals were funny and nice. Portions were big and an absolute bargain for 750¥. As tourists we were treated with respect and patience.

Owner is gracious and welcomes locals and visitors alike. The night we were there it was mostly foreigners, so much so that one local asked to take a photo of the crowd showing how many foreigners were eating there, claiming his friends wouldn't believe it. Google maps drew just about everyone there and it was worth the visit. Food was great and reasonably priced. Try something different if you are there, it's all good.
