Loved it! Staff were lovely. They have an english menu and food was so delicious! Great atmosphere with the baseball playing and very cheap!

Very good, tasty food. The food was made to order and presented to us on our table grill very quickly. It really did taste good (I chose beef). The owners don't speak English but I understand what they were trying to say and they provided hand-written English menus. It has a 'local atmosphere' which was nice. I recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere quick to eat in Kyoto

This is super delicious and affordable! Basically you start with a base (500/600+ yen) of Udon or Soba and add on ingredients ranging from beef to squid (100 yen per add on). Owners don’t really speak English but provided an English handwritten menu so you just point and it’s not hard. Super friendly and welcoming. Left smelling like grill but that’s how you know it was awesome!
