Great tasting family run noodle spot. It is a bit hidden and from the outside it can look a bit uninviting compared to the surrounding restaurants (at least my friend said so), but go in here and you will enjoy the great tasting home made dishes that are being prepared for you. English menu is available and service is kind and fast. The gyoza are also a recommendation. Definitely would go here again for lunch since the prices are quite cheap!

A fantastic ramen shop near the shrine. One of the most memorable ramen I've experienced. Unlike popular ramen chains, their servings have a unique taste, thanks to the light soup base that oozes with flavor. Plenty of toppings are also included. Well worth the cost. Be here early, queues can get long during rush our, and venue is a little tight.

The value for the ramen size is really good here. When I ordered the "Large Chashu Ramen (Kare Broth)," I noticed that I didn't need to proportion any of the meat out and was pleasantly surprised. Food: Most of the broths here are pretty light in flavor. If you are looking for a more savory broth, I'd go for the "Paitan." The size of course is up to you! Notes: Ordering a chashu ramen gets you around 5 pieces of chashu slices. There are a lot of veggie toppings, be sure your party is OK with this. This spot is very friendly to foreigners.
