This place was so freaking good! They have a separate GF menu with options. I had squid and oyster and it was delicious. The chef is familiar with allergens. The grill could pose a cross contamination risk, but is kept very clean. I felt fabulous after eating here. A must-try for people who are craving authentic Japanese food and it won't break the bank either.

I’m in love with this place. Just around the corner where we stayed in Kyoto. Strolled past and decided to book for dinner. This restaurant serves variety of choices and mostly focus on okonomiyaki, Taki soba and other sort of horumon specialties and Kyoto specialities. It was simply amazing to watch the master cooking infront of you and he was an awesome dude to chat with too with him giving us recommendations on style of cooking when we pick an order. You have got to try this place as it offers so many ways some dishes are cooked. The meals were well priced and the portion was good along with your choice of drinks! Recommend a group to eat to share varieties but still soloing or duo is fine if you have a big stomach! A must recommend. I’m definitely coming back here if I’m going Kyoto again.

First time in Kyoto, and YOU have to go! It’s the cozy little spot with amazing food. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I recommend it to everyone! We went back there the second time on our last night in Kyoto. They made us feel welcome and gave us an amazing experience.
