[The special sauce is amazing...] Most okonomiyaki restaurants have basically the same seasoning, but Ajihiro in Kyoto has a sweet and spicy special sauce that is different and impressive. It's delicious. By the way, this sauce goes well with yakisoba and other menus. If you come to Kyoto, this is a shop that you should visit at least once.

On TV, I heard Yamamoto Manbo in Kyoto, and when I asked a colleague at work, he said that it was near Kyoto Station and that it was very delicious. Four or five years ago, I went to Ajihiro during the year-end and New Year holidays, and remembered the manbo recommended by the proprietress, so I ordered takeout. When I called, the clerk told me that it was topped with green onions and raw egg, and when I told her that it was topped with everything, she said it was a Betayaki mix (beef, squid, pork). When I asked for it to be modern, I was told that noodles were included. I thought maybe that was Ajihiro's mischievousness. Added aburakasu (aburakasu is a food made from the residue of edible fats and oils extracted from meat, from Wikipedia.) By the way, the owner prepares this aburakasu in the morning. Apparently it's very difficult. ). It was 2,160 yen including tax, but it was more filling than I imagined and my stomach was full. The taste is amazing, the raw egg is heated to give it an exquisite melty texture, the oil cake adds to the richness and flavor, the sweetness of the cabbage, the tenderness of the squid, and the definite deliciousness of the beef and pork are just amazing. I was impressed that I used to eat such delicious food as a matter of course 4 or 5 years ago. I'll work hard tomorrow too!
