More Comments at Google MapThis is a grilled unagi restaurant at a train station. Didn’t expect much but it was certainly not bad. Always go for the hitsumabushi if you are not sure. It allows you to enjoy your unagi meal in 3 different ways or more. Always pair it with a draft beer if possible. Go for medium or large rice as the unagi portion is good for those sizes. Kids meal looks stunning as well.
Actually I want to put a 4.5 stars, but since we don't have it here, I'll let them take little bit of too high score, cause the glasses guy staff at the front counter quite friendly with us. The Unagi texture is soft and plumbed, just not quite give the crisp that I mostly cherish. The sause is on point, not too salty and give a small amount of sweet that feel like almost gone. Whoever like the soft and plumbed texture of unagi should try this one We also order the grilled eel liver menu, and the taste is rish and so soft too, but not really chewy(which is the part I like again, so I quite disappoint, but doesn't mean its not delicious) We still order the crispy fish bone menu, which in my opinion its quite too salty and not that outstanding.
- You can enjoy a full cut of eel at this establishments - The eel is grilled over bincho charcoal fire Tips: - Visit during off peak hours to avoid long wait time - Add soup into bowl to enjoy a different style - Order Tamago eel if you are a fan of eggs
