Huge portion, but edible even for me who has a small stomach. Sometimes I find unagi in other stores too mushy or covered in too much sauce, but here the skin is almost crunchy, with just enough sauce (they also give you some sauce to pour just in case). In some sets they even have also tasty, fresh sashimi and also some sides. Quite on the pricy side but definitely worth the good meal. Will definitely come back.

Tanyaki Fuji is located above Daimaru Department Store and is open until 8:30. Even if the department store is about to close, you can still go upstairs to eat. The price of eel rice is not low. A set of three meals costs more than 1,000 NT dollars. In addition, eel rice alone costs nearly 1,000 NT dollars. However, the portion of eel is very sufficient. I personally like the eel grilled in sauce. This eel is very grilled. It's fragrant. Don't think that the eel rice only has the eel on the surface. When you scoop it down with a spoon, you will find that there is a layer of eel in the middle of the rice, and it is very delicious with mustard sauce. I like soup rice, but some people think that the dashi dilutes the eel flavor. It depends on personal taste.
